As a buyer, the market can be somewhat frustrating these days. If you’re looking for a home that’s completely up to date and has no projects in it, there will be competition for it. Those houses are typically going over list price and selling in less than three days. You’ll have more options if you consider doing some painting and changing the floors.
This could be good news for sellers. If you present your home as clean with updated paint and flooring, you’re going to get offers over list price. If you don’t want to do a thing, you’ll still get a good price.
What is the market like for investors? If you want to buy a home to hold and rent, you have options. You’re a buyer, so view the market through that lens. However, if you’re flipping, you need to get creative on where you’re looking.
